OKURELO
We work to guarantee the accessibility of art and culture.

We adapt films, series, plays, books, cultural guides, exhibitions, corporate videos, and advertising. We offer sign language interpretation services, descriptive subtitling, and audio-description.
EVENTS
We provide conferences and manage accessible and inclusive cultural events for people with any type of physical and intellectual diversity. In addition, we are pioneers in Latin America holding film festivals for blind and deaf people.
WORKSHOPS
We offer the workshop "Introduction to Cultural Accessibility" and coordinate inclusive artistic workshops such as painting for blind people and hip hop for the deaf, among others.
ADVISORY
We support companies, organizations and individuals, who organize accessible events or adapt content, to guarantee the highest level of inclusion.
ABOUT US
Okurelo was born in 2013 as the first film festival for blind and deaf people in Uruguay. Since then, we have become the leading social company in South America that adapts artistic content and offers inclusive events for all audiences, regardless of their physical or intellectual diversity.
We are a team of professionals and technicians who love culture and our mission is that all individuals participate in it. We have producers, screenwriters, announcers, descriptive subtitlers, sign language interpreters, camera and audio operators, and editors. In addition, we work directly with blind and deaf consultants who accompany us in the adaptation processes and evaluate quality.
